SERVE Letter April 2021

"Our heartfelt sympathies go out to all the families who have been impacted by the tornadoes that hit Birmingham and the surrounding communities last Thursday. Many of us got into our safe places as we listened intently to our favorite meteorologist giving us minute by minute details of the tornado’s path, and we hoped and prayed it would not hit us. Eleven years ago, when I started Brookstone Restoration, I came up with our company's purpose. That purpose is to “Restore Lives and Restore Property” the two go hand in hand.  Our lives are centered around our home and family.  As we begin to restore the damaged houses, it is often better than before the storm hit, and the result is a new home or kitchen, depending on the event.  As we restore their home, it is the beginning of restoring their lives that the event has impacted.  At Brookstone, our purpose is to provide an exceptional customer experience through the relentless pursuit of excellence.  Better said, we do not want our customers to go through another traumatic event of getting their property repaired.  At Brookstone, we understand the challenges homeowners go through. Because of our experience, we are able to successfully navigate them through the insurance world that we live in every day."

On March 25th, 2021, an outbreak of severe weather, including several destructive tornadoes, swept across the state. The swarm of storms came after roughly 50 tornadoes tore through the region last week. A highly volatile atmospheric setup prompted the National Weather Service to declare a rare level 5 out of 5 “high risk” for severe thunderstorms, focused in Alabama but touching several surrounding states.

During the mid-afternoon Thursday, a tornadic thunderstorm carved a 100-plus mile path across north-central Alabama into northwest Georgia, spawning multiple twisters while passing south of Tuscaloosa, then south and east of Birmingham. This was the first of 3 different long-track tornadoes that were reported on this tragic date. The tornadoes left behind pockets of severe damage along with reports of injuries and fatalities.

After these recent devastating tornados that hit Alabama and the surrounding states, we thought this a necessary time to highlight our Emergency Clean-up Services. Brookstone stays ready 24/7 to dispatch a fully prepared disaster recovery team to any residential or commercial property. Our Emergency Clean-up Services include but are not limited to the following:

  • Tree Removal
  • Temporary Power
  • Roof Cover
  • Structural Stabilization & Shoring
  • Temporary Fencing
  • Controlled Debris Removal

If you were affected by the recent storms and need help getting your life or home back to normal, please give us a call today at 1-800-699-1970. Also, for more information on how you can prepare your property for storm damage, watch this video.
