SERVE Letter March 2021

"Brookstone Restoration is a proud member of Restoration Affiliates (RA) an organization made up of 25, and growing, highly vetted commercial restoration companies throughout the United States. Its purpose is to work as a team to handle clients claims anywhere in the US and Hawaii through the network of members. In 2020 RA members completed over 50,000 Claims for a total of $600 million dollars in revenue. Collectively we have 30,000 pieces of equipment, 7,000 dehus and 21,000 air movers. There is not a job that any of our members cannot handle through the collective support of the RA organization."

Springtime in Alabama means it is officially the start of storm season. This means a wide variety of different storms like random freezing weather, tornados, hurricanes, and many more that can cause major damage to your home or business. This is when Brookstone’s Mitigation team would step in to help make your property damage less severe, dangerous, and even keep further damage from taking place. What is mitigation you might ask? Well, it is a specific action taken to reduce or eliminate long-term risk to people and their property from hazards and their impact.

Over the past month, our mitigation team has been hard at work since the devastating tornado hit Fultondale and the surrounding areas. This has included removing fallen trees, covering the damaged areas with tarps, drying out any water, and packing-out items from homes or businesses to store them in our climate-controlled warehouse. Our mitigation teams continue to work hard every day to ensure the families affected by the storm get back to their normal lives as soon as possible. If you or someone else you know needs any of our services, please give us a call today 1-800-699-1970.

If you have been following along on any of our previous Serve Letter’s, you’ve probably read about the Tarrant Home project we have been working on. Over the past year and a half, we have restored this historic home to be used for respite care for the Alabama Baptist Children’s Home and Family Ministries (ABCH) house parents. As we get ready to finally release the house to the ABCH we would like to feature their amazing organization and share why we chose to partner with them. The purpose of the ABCH is to protect, nurture, and restore children and families through Christ-centered services. They provide homes for children, professional counseling, educational services, family assistance, and their administration. The result they hope to see through their homes is a newly gained hope and wholeness for children and families through knowing God. There are many ways you can serve children and families in ABCH’s care. To get involved and learn more about how you can help click here. If you would like to donate to ABCH you can visit their website here.
