SERVE Letter September 2021

After a year of irregularity, we can finally settle into our couches with family as football season kicks off this September. Stadiums will fill, crowds will be louder than ever, and the halftime snacks will be doubly delicious. This season I hope that you all honor the power and importance of family as we gather back together after a year of separation and uncertainty over the age-old traditions of football. As someone with a house divided, two children went to Alabama and two to Auburn; it is so important to remember what unites us. I am proud to have a family through Christ’s blood and my own. Auburn coach Gene Chizik once said this before leading his team onto the field, “This place was made great way before you got here,” and the same applies to us. Let us take this month to remember what a beautiful and perfect plan Christ has placed before us to live without fear and live united in His family.

Content Cleaning

As a restoration company, Brookstone Restoration is there to help you during some of the worst times of your life. Whether you’ve been through a house fire, a flood, a mold infestation, we are there to help RESTORE your life to normal. That’s the case with our Contents Cleaning service as well. When your home goes through a disaster, many essential belongings and documents can be severely damaged. With our Contents Cleaning technology, we can salvage many of your belongings and restore them to as close to new as possible.

The professionals at Brookstone Restoration will help decide which items are salvageable, take photos of the contents, create a list of inventory of restorable items, and then professionally pack up them all to be moved. The boxes are then transported to our facility and stored in a climate-controlled area until cleaning begins. Many other restoration companies will send everything off to a third party to clean, but at Brookstone, we do it right on-site with professionals who will treat your belongings with a personal touch.

If you require content cleaning due to any damage, please give us a call at 1-800-699-1970. We will do our very best to restore all your belongings to their former beauty.

Brookstone Restoration is proud to be participating in the JDRF Alabama One Walk again this fall! Our team will be walking to create a world without type 1 diabetes (T1D).

When you have T1D, your pancreas stops producing insulin—a hormone essential to turning food into energy. This means you must constantly monitor your blood-sugar level, administer insulin, and carefully balance these insulin doses with your eating and activity just to stay alive. With T1D, there are no days off, and there is no cure. But there is hope.

In honor of World Diabetes Day on November 14th, JDRF is asking all of us to create a walk route in our neighborhood, challenge ourselves with a long hike, or walk inside on our treadmill - however you choose to walk, November 14th will be the day for our community to celebrate the stories, recognize the accomplishments, and walk to change the future for everyone living with T1D.

By donating or joining our JDRF One Walk® team today, you’ll support research for life-changing breakthroughs to make it safer and easier to live with T1D until we find a cure.

Thank you for your support.
